my courses aspire to show students how cultures grow, change and adapt over time, as reflected in cultural and artistic practices as well as in institutional policy and in political discourse. I also offer practice- based courses in the style of art-as-research, where students are assigned small, creative tasks (collage-making/ soundscape/ short fiction) in response to given historical themes
